
We are passing through a time where the century is changing, the tools are varying, the competition is increasing, the growing quantities of bankrupted worlds’ large companies (where we were thinking that those companies can not be in bankruptcy situation), the efficiency stands in the forefront, the green effects are passing to the forefront, the intelligence and experiences are more precious and strategical than the articles in the inventory.
After 9/11 happenings, we have to accept that the world is in the changing process. We started to see this changing in every place such as, finance, defence, production, strategy, human resources, chemical, health and energy. In our primary school times, we have learnt the starting time and happenings of different ages from the history rulers or from history tables and also we were wondering what would change our present age. We are observing the duration for stabilization of the change after its start takes too much time.
This duration can be thought as a fast process with the resources of the information age; but it seems that it takes longer because of the muchness of the information resources and the environment which is created by different ideas and different people.
The loss in the shares after the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers in US, the selection of its brokers as a valuable asset by Barclays in order to buy, we saw how a value concept has been changed and how this value effects the other companies’ strategies.
Competition environment and changing world conditions provided that you can not act only with your intelligence and experience. Now, “ No one knows my job, better than me” approach is not valid anymore.
If the participation and variety is much in the evaluation and decision stages, then the results much more become healthier, manageable and resultable.
Different sights may have positive and negative effects on your business. But, the consultancy, view and evaluations based on experiences from out of the organization will carry you to the more positive levels.
The biggest effects in an organization development are the real-time eveluations, the real-time results and the future predictive analysis. The forecasts depend on the healthy reporting and the operational whole picture of the company whenever it is taken. If this picture right and gives the correct image of that instant, then without any estimation, by using scenarios and artificial intelligency, taking a decision becomes easier and efficiency increases.
In order to take position in this changing period, you should revise your strategies, and if you need to get a consultancy service then you must take actions to step further. When you take these steps, either technology or using experience will come to the first stage. If you are in trouble for saving the day, then get out of this trouble and start to search.
Otherwise, as I mentioned above you may stay at the previous age.
