After a very intense and complex year, in the year 2009 this intensity and complexity seem to be not decreased. In the new year, we will see different growing subjects while we are going to search different solutions for different problems. Security will be main topic in these subjects.

The confusion because of the problematic atmosphere, will cary the virtual security to the first line with physical security. Enterprise applications and people on internet may spend too much money and time to protect themselves from these malicious attacks. The critical side of the subject is taking an action will not be for once, it will be understood as to update their security systems according to the changing conditions. Especially, using robust secure applications in order to keep safe their defense shields from virus attacks.

In today’s IT usage environment, botnets become widely spred in the various malicious tools. Botnets are the networks of computers with malicious programs. And are defined as a main cause of pishing.

“Bot” as a short form of “Robot”, runs by a user or as a subprogram of a program or is a program which simulates the human activities. We can face with bots in different places, either downloading from e-mails, internet browsers, chat, social networks or coded into some internet sites. They act as a trojan horse in the computers and wait for their time for activiation. It runs with a command by a hacker in the future, to serve for a planned bad faith and start to damage.

It is very hard to filter and to follow the botnets. Usually they appear after they run. It is necessary to implement different solutions in client, server, and network entry and exit points, and cover the security vulnerability points.

Day by day growing applications on internet, intensive usage of financial applications, interactive usage of enterprise databases, shift of wars from traditional environment to digital environment, and increased confusion with crisis talks, prepared the best environment for baleful people. If necessary steps will not be taken and revised, if there will be no investment and no action, if there will be no reporting for possible attacks, then it will not be possible to bafflle the losses.
