Socializing and Networking... The things we need. In order to realize our plans that we need mostly nowadays, and from now on these are the two important concepts that will be too necessary in our lives. In order to achieve our targets, to develop ourselves, to gain new skills and experiences, to enhance our environment, to show ourselves freely, these two concepts come to the scene naturally.
Everybody needs to socialize who thinks and says “I need to present myself”, “I should present my ideas to everybody and evaluate myself.”, “I should walk and proceed with my connections”.
When we look at the past that internet and technology usage were low, it was very difficult to announce the ideas and generally connections would make the personal developments. When we look at today, we easily see that, nothing changed too much, but its sizes grew enough.
When technology companies are pushing the people to loneliness by producing self satisfied products, on the other hand they produce and supply products and create communities in order to terminate the loneliness of people, to create a communication platform to connect with many people, and to create environment richness. Groups and communites are built for different formats of people, and for different special needs.
Do we really need to be socialize? Do we really need to be in a group or community?
Being a member of the group, communication and integration is in the nature of human being. This behaviour, can not be changed and undeniable.
The desire to colour and expedite our life forces us to creativity. Friendships, careers, discussions, ideas, etc. on internet, are the resulted products and/or concepts of this creativy. The group that we are in, that will provide advantages and possibilities, comes easily and fastly with the technologies’ infrastructure and their capabilities.
Recommendation methods are still valid and wide on internet platforms like in the past. When we are walking to the endless future with creative ideas on the other hand we are building methods in order to speed up our traditional lives.
In the coming days, we will start to see many companies on internet that will provide “Networking”. We will be the witness of merger and acquisitions of the companies who has rich informations about people.
Watch the companies like Facebook, MySpace, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Xing, Plaxo. Microsoft’s high bid for Yahoo is due to the value of the informations in Yahoo’s groups and its brand. This bid is such a high bid, it is higher than the total privatizations amount in Turkey in the last 5 years. And look at the interests of Google over MySpace.... We will start to see these mergers in the near future.
The way from socializing to networking, then to richness ( not only money, but also knowledge ), innovations that take traditions as a base, will accelerate our life and we will start to live fastly.
